EV Fast Charging Stations
With over a decade of electrical experience, Sawyer Services has built a comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) charging network with solutions for every type of business. At Sawyer Services, we will walk you through each step of the process and ensure you have the right EV charging solution for your business. We offer information and installation expertise on both Level 2 and Level 3 (DC charging) options.
Level 2 charging adds approximately 25 miles of Range Per Hour (RPH) and allows EV drivers to fulfill their day-to-day needs with ease. Level 3 charging (DC charging) meets the needs of long range EVs and can charge an EV to 80% in under an hour. Our ability to self-perform EV charging work – including site survey, design, installation, and maintenance – allows us to quickly respond to our clients’ requests and EV charging needs.

EV CHARGer INSTALLATION
Level 2 charging adds approximately 25 miles of Range Per Hour (RPH) and has been deployed at homes, workplaces, and retail locations letting EV drivers go about their day with ease. Most drivers travel fewer than 60 miles a day, so they do not have high demand for charging. Level 2 charging is ideal for community needs, as it allows drivers to remain untethered during local travel. Level 2 charging is economical to deploy, easy to manage, and attractive to customers making it a good fit for many businesses.

EV CHARGer INSTALLATION
Appealing mass-market EVs with long range (more than 200 miles), such as the Chevy Bolt EV, began shipping in 2016 – making long distance EV travel feasible. While Level 2 charging works for local travel, EV drivers on long trips want to take a quick break, refuel, then get on their way. This means that businesses and charging centers along major roads should deploy next-generation, ultra-fast DC charging systems that can charge an EV to 80% in under an hour. Short charge times and high utilization helps offset the higher costs of DC fast charging technology.
